Your Mountain Escape

Morning Pickup
We pick you up from your hotel or residence in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. As we ascend the Aburi mountains, feel the temperature drop and the air get fresher.

Stop 1: Boti Waterfalls
We venture further to the breathtaking Boti Falls (seasonal twin falls). Depending on the water levels, it is a magnificent sight. (Note: If Boti is dry or inaccessible, we may substitute with the closer Adom Falls).

Boti Waterfalls
Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm
Ghana Nature Landscape

Stop 2: Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm
Did you know Ghana is one of the world’s largest cocoa producers? Visit the very first cocoa farm established in Ghana in 1879. Learn the history of how chocolate begins and taste the fresh fruit (seasonal).

Stop 3: Aburi Botanical Gardens
Opened in 1890, these gardens are a colonial relic turned natural sanctuary. Walk down the famous Royal Palm Avenue, see the “Tree of Life” carving, and learn about the medicinal plants that grow in this lush environment.

Aburi Craft Village
On the way back, we stop at the Craft Village. This is one of the best places to buy wood carvings directly from the artisans who make them. It is less aggressive than the city markets and offers unique pieces.

Lunch & Return
Enjoy a full lunch at a local restaurant with mountain views before we descend back to Accra and drop you off at your door.
